You read that right, a café where you can get a blowjob with your cup of Joe.
Or, to put it another way, more bang for your star-bucks.
The news hit the papers some time ago when a Swiss entrepreneur announced his intention to open a blowjob bar. Though the venue is yet to open due to some planning issues with the local authorities, we wanted to take a look at the venture.
Fellatio Café: The Idea Behind the Headlines
The company behind the idea, FaceGirl, is due to open its first blowjob café by the end of this year in Geneva.
The original idea to use actual prostitutes is causing some consternation with the café’s owner Bradley Chervet facing some objections from the local authorities.
Whilst prostitution is legal in Switzerland (with a license), it is not legal in a public place particularly one that falls under the law of catering and the sale of drinks. Chervet is considering using high-end sex robots (!) as a compromise but full details are yet to be finalised.
The original idea was straightforward, you order a coffee then select a girl from an iPad menu to give you some head whilst you enjoy a frothy one.
However, it remains to be seen exactly what kind of establishment the Fellatio café will be and just how services will be performed.
The service is set to cost 60 Swiss Francs (around $50), that’s on top of the cost of the coffee, of course.
There is no mention of any Costa style loyalty card scheme but we suspect that there would be a big uptake if the owners were to consider it. Buy ten coffees and get your 10th blowjob free is surely an offer you can’t refuse.
The idea isn’t entirely new and is based on the blowjob and handjob bars of Thailand where you can get head right in the bar (most offer a private room but the thrill of public sex is intoxicating).
With an opening date planned by the end of 2017, we will wait to see just how popular the Fellatio Café will be and in what format it will come.
Other Unusual Places to Get Sex
When it comes to thinking outside the box, Switzerland doesn’t have the monopoly, particularly in Europe.
If you want a new way to get some satisfaction then you can try one of their sex-drive ins.
These bays, erected by the local authorities to screen sexual activities, are simply sex boxes where customers can pull up with a prostitute to ‘finish their business’.
The concept began in the Netherlands but has been adopted in Germany and Switzerland.
Bays are simple in design but some feature alarm buttons and security cameras. The original designs included a safety system which allowed only the passenger door to be opened once the vehicle had entered the bay; offering an escape route for prostitutes but not for drivers.
If you are a fan of sex and transport then you can get an interesting experience in a Japanese image club.
Sort of like a cross between a sex club and a theatre, men can pay to stand on an underground train and grope a woman with no consequences.
You can even get a hand job or something extra. The costs for the experience are high but certainly offer an unusual setting.

Or, if you still like the idea of getting some head with a cup of java then you can always experience the original BJ bars in Thailand.
Bangkok is, perhaps, the most popular location to get one and there are plenty of these venues in the city. A bar you can walk into and choose a girl to give you head, most of them perform the service topless and let you touch them as well. Expect to pay no more than about $20 for a blowjob.
The Sex Industry in Switzerland
Prostitution is legal in Switzerland and you can find plenty of places to get full sex or other kinds of service.
Zurich, in particular, has lots of venues like sex clubs, erotic massage parlours and in-call escort services. In the adult body rub centres you can’t get full intercourse (officially) but you will be offered a happy ending.
So, it’s not that hard to see why the idea of the Fellatio Café has taken off so well. There is a demand, there is a market and now, thanks to FaceGirl, there will soon be a supply.
Any Plans for Globalization?
As yet, the FaceGirl café has only got plans for the one venue in Geneva and, due to the licensing issues, is likely to only be a Swiss venture at this stage.
Prostitution laws in other countries may mean an international expansion plan could be on the cards but the licensing and control could prove problematical.
So, sadly, don’t expect to see blowjob bars popping up in your local high street any time soon.
